Susan Davens new work entitled Resonance is on exhibit at the Kingman Gallery. As with her past work , the stunning black and white images were inspired by the natural world around her.
“Learning to see the winter landscape of trees, snow, rocks and water as raw materials for making something new was a revelation to me. A sharp movement blurs the image and it becomes an unusual rendering of the natural world.
These images invoke strong references to music especially visual rhythm and dynamic sound resonating across the landscape.”
This solo show will run from September 2 through Columbus Day, with an artist’s reception Sunday September 6, 2-5.
