Kingman Gallery’s final exhibit of the season, Mid-Century Photojournalism will showcase the work of Charlotte Brooks a distinguished photojournalist working from the 1940’s on projects with Barbara Morgan and Roy Stryker to name a few. She is most celebrated for her work at LOOK Magazine which she joined in 1951 where she remained, the only female staff photographer, until it folded in 1971. In the mid- 1970’s Charlotte took part in the USIA photography projects taking portraits of the people of Soviet Georgia and Romania. Mid-Century Photojournalism, 8/16-9/25.
