I have loved taking photographs for fifty years.
If there are lines or colors, shapes or textures, people or reflections I am interested. I take my camera everywhere, and in return it takes me on a journey.
I bring it fishing in the canoe and it returns a perfect reflection of the shore and the sky – there is not a breath of wind and everything is perfectly smooth and still.I hang it out the car window on the way to Stonington and the lobster traps become a blur of bright yellow on a verdant green background. I like taking images as close to a subject as I can get, so just a part of a brook trout. The colors and texture of their skin and fins become the subject – and they are stunning.
